Any client who has one or more of the following risk factors will be considered as high risk:
- The business relationship is conducted in unusual circumstances;
- The client is a resident or transacts with a geographical area of high risk;
- Entities registered in Countries classified as High Risk by FATF;
- Cash-intensive businesses;
- The corporate structure of the customer is unusual or excessively complex given the nature of the company’s business;
- Unusual transactions or unusual patterns
- High-value businesses (jewelers, antiques, etc.);
- High-net-worth individual;
- Politically exposed person (PEP);
- Relatives and/or close associates of PEPs;
- Customers with large and/or complex transactions;
- Corporate entities engaged in activities, closely associated with money laundering
- Other clients reasonably qualifying as high-risk ones.
The final risk score may be adjusted by our compliance team upon review of customer's documents during the on-boarding procedure.
